Welcome to the world of Voiceover Acting … and the one and only name that has been a prominent Go to artist in the entertainment  world with her amazing talent  is Meghana Erande from Mumbai .. 

We all know that every film we watch is dubbed by various artists including the onscreen artists.. But seldom do we know the further details of  dubbing process and how a Voice over Artist engages you with his talent 

Life of Meghana Erande is an example of how exciting and fulfilling  can be the journey of a Voiceover artist 

Born on 24th April 1981 in Mumbai, Meghana  was raised in Mumbai completing her schooling and college from the city of dreams. 

After completing her education, she headed to pursue her career in the acting world, which she had started as a child actor in the year 1989.  It all started with a regional national channel’s program for 10th standard students  known as Dahavi Diwali in the nineties. In this show, she was among the students who worked as a coordinator of the show. And thereafter she hasnt ever looked back

Meghana Dubs for more than 300 days a year and her Voice Over projects vary from Cartoon films, to documentaries, to regular Movies , TV serials in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Her dubbing career started for the Hindi dubbing project for Pamela Anderson for the character of CJ Parker in Baywatch. Meghana dubbed for Pamela over all the episodes throughout the seasons wherein she appeared in and several other movies for some   characters in some of the Barbie movies and  characters like Denise Richard in Wild Things and the role of  Angelina Jolie as the senior cop. 

The  TV animation shows include Make Way For Noddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Bob The Builder, Ninja Hatori, Pokemon, Crayon Shin Chan, Chibi Maruko Chan, Perman, etc. There are  numerous other movies , documentaries , and serious shows on Discovery channel, the National Geographic and others . 

When the entire country was looking at  STEM careers in the 90s, she took a different path.. A less known path and has charted her  Success Journey thats highly satisfying and fulfilling 

A Very simple . humble down to earth Meghana  does surprise us when she says that your success as a Voice Over Artist Largely depends on you being a Good Human.. Because getting into the various Husks and bases and high and low pitches of  a voice isnt just something technical  that can be easily learnt through a course.. It all depends how the Astral Body of yours  syncs with your physical body .. 

Now that's a very very different insight into a career in the entertainment industry thats known for manipulative practices.

How to become a Voice-Over-Artist?

Generally speaking, the only eligibility criteria to become a voice-over-artist is good voice and ability to modulate it  While, it may sound very easy, but when it comes to actually doing a voice-over for a video or a character, there are many things that come into the picture.
