Does Result Day give you the jitters? Here are four ways to quickly obtain your Board Results

We've all experienced the frustrating feeling of seeing a blank screen when we try to check our CBSE Board Results. The official websites tend to start crashing due to a heavy load of traffic, caused by many other students, many of whom are just as irritated in their homes as we are. Fortunately, for all these warriors of patience, the Board actually does provide other facilities to be able to check CBSE Board Result for both classes 10th and 12th seamlessly.

So, apart from official websites, students can also check their CBSE  in the following ways:

1. Finding out CBSE results via SMS is simple, all you have to do is simply send a message to this registered mobile number: 7738299899, in the given format:

If you're looking for your CBSE 10th Result: Type "CBSE10", followed by your Roll Number, your Date of Birth, your school number and your centre number.

If you're looking for your CBSE 12th Result: Type "CBSE12", followed by your Roll Number, your Date of Birth, your school number and your centre number

2. Students also have the option of checking their results via IVRS or call. IVRS (which stands for the Interactive Voice Response System) is a system specially rolled out by CBSE which allows students to get their results through a telephone call by dialling the following number: 24300699. Students must remember to add their area code before calling this number.

3. Downloading the CBSE Result via Umang App is the next alternative that can be counted on. Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (abbreviated as UMANG) is an e-governance platform created jointly by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD)  which makes the process quick and easy. The UMANG app is compatible with Android, iOS, and even Windows phones. Students can view their marksheet using the UMANG app with a few simple steps. The first thing to do is to download the UMANG App on your mobile phone. Next, the app requires you to create an account by providing your phone number and logging in. Then you must select your CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 tabs accordingly. Write your name, address, Ticket ID, Roll Number, and Date of Birth as mentioned on your CBSE Admit Card. After maybe a brief period of waiting, your CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Results will appear on the screen.

4. Need another alternative trustworthy source? DigiLocker is here for you. Digital mark sheets for CBSE 10th and 12th can be procured in the DigiLocker App as well as, on the website, digilocker.gov.in. It can be downloaded on all kinds of phones and students can choose to login via the DigiLocker website or the mobile application, based on individual preference. The credentials for DigiLocker arrive on the phone via SMS. Then, one must simply enter their details in the app to check their CBSE Result.

An extra added layer of security has been introduced for downloading mark sheets from DigiLocker. To get the marksheets from DigiLocker, students must visit this website: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse to initiate their account confirmation process. An important detail here is that students will need a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. It has been introduced to fortify the security and privacy of the student's data.

To confirm their individual DigiLocker accounts, the students will have to select their class, their school code, and their roll number. Next, they must access a six-digit security PIN which will be provided to them by their schools in due time.

Now, there is no need to aimlessly sit in front of a screen in constant panic, waiting for words to appear. View your Board results effectively and easily and start working towards a better future!!

Wishing you a great time ahead.
