Career choice and planning are crucial aspects of a student's life, as it can shape his future and career prospects. It is important to start the thought process and planning early to ensure that the student has enough time to explore their options and make informed decisions. The thought process for career choice should begin as early as between grade 6 to grade 8   as this is the time when students start to become aware of their interests and abilities . This is the age when as parents, we should closely watch the hobbies being developed, the extra curricular activities being done, observe to what level is child putting his efforts   to excel in an activity . Let the child  explore multiple activities, have a budget for the same . Its wise here,   not to really expect   from the child that he should excel to be the best   in whatever he takes up as hobby / activity in this age. The Number of students opting for commerce  has increased substantially in recent years. It may be either out of reduced interest in science or seemingly out of hope of getting some good job in Industry. Many commerce  students initially dream of and  start preparing for CA / CS or plan for MBA post BCom  or some think of pursuing MPSC / UPSC and some others plan to go for LAW ..  Initially everything seems quite encouraging, but as the years pass and the students face failures in the competitive exams like CA/CS / the interest fades away from the chosen  path of MPSC / UPSC or when they realize that Law isn't that great for them, self doubt starts to creep in ... increasing the confusion, thereby leading to a stressful life.   Unfortunately many universities haven't yet updated the B.com / M.com syllabus to remain effective with changing times and hence as the students are about to complete B.Com and they see no respectable job opportun...
